This cycling excursion allows us to visit the northern part of the lagoon, home to abundant wildfowl including the fascinating pink flamingo.

Light dominates everything, constantly changing as it reflects off the immense stretches of water, its many colors and hues affected by the barene (salt marshes and sandbars of the Venetian lagoon).

We will leave on our bikes from Ca’ Savio, on the beach, and then reach the lagoon.

We will visit the small town of Treporti, the woods of Mesole, and the tiny town of Lio Piccolo.

Here we will stop for a lunch break in a typical restaurant, where we can enjoy the local lagoon specialties.

In the afternoon we will head towards Punta Sabbioni. We will set out from the lagoon for the seashore, where it is possible to take a refreshing swim, in warm seasons. We will head back to our destination, bathed in the light of the sunset and delighted by our wonderful day spent together.
